• Since 2019, we have been working on hydrogen burners for households and industry. Together with the manufacturer "Robur", we are converting a natural gas absorption heat pump to run on hydrogen. The heating device is 70 % more efficient than conventional gas boilers. This is particularly useful for buildings where other renewable solutions are difficult to implement.

• NextHeat has also been offering industrial solutions since 2022. We are currently working on using our H2 burners for the production of porcelain, glass and in aluminium furnaces. Together with new industrial partners, we want to find even more applications and enable everyone to switch to green hydrogen and climate-neutral heat.

• We are developing electrolysers especially for process heat applications. NextHeat is currently building a test plant that will supply hydrogen for our converted absorption heat pump. In 2025, a first electrolyser with a capacity of 300 kW is to go into operation at an industrial customer. This electrolyser is specially designed for our burner modules and offers low costs and high efficiency.

By developing simple, safe, and profitable hydrogen solutions, we are making an important contribution to achieving climate targets and accelerating the phase-out of fossil fuels.
